Meet the Founder

Lauren attended the Université de Versailles in Versailles, France to study Journalism and Public Relations. She then moved to Germany for a position working with the US Government in French Linguistics, and afterwards as a Wine Sales Representative with Vinotimo in the Pfalz Region of Germany. Lauren travelled extensively throughout Europe, developing a passion for wine, viticulture and enology. When she returned to the United States, Lauren began working in the wine industry. She fine-tuned her knowledge of wine by earning many professional wine certifications, including Certified Wine Educator, Certified Specialist of Wine, WSET Diploma Candidate, Certified Sommelier and French Wine Scholar with a Mastery in Bourgogne (Burgundy, France).

Eau Du Vin was born with the idea that wine can be enjoyed outside of the glass, illuminating a new, unique way to celebrate wine culture, while elevating your space, feeling transported to the rolling hills of wine country.  The concept of Eau Du Vin occurred to Lauren during my second pregnancy. She could not drink wine or scuba dive, two lifelong passions, so she established a company named Eau Du Vin. Despite not having any idea how this was supposed to be done, Lauren married the romance of viticulture and terroir with sustainable natural ingredients resulting in a fun, yet sophisticated line of home and body products that resonate with wine connoisseurs and eco-conscious consumers alike. By embracing the unknown and trusting the process, each vital step during Eau Du Vin's evolution naturally revealed itself at the right time, defining the path forward. Turning the evolution of wine, dating back to the 13th Century, with a modern approach gave a pulse to exciting everyday household products, which bridges both science and artistry. To further support her brand, Lauren launched a Wine Education podcast called, Wine Pros on the Go, providing fun mini wine masterclasses on wine grapes, regions and guest interviews with wine professionals across the industry.

The concept behind Eau Du Vin is to capture the true essence of each wine varietal. Utilizing the same classic aromatic nuances sommeliers identify in specific wine varieties, Lauren’s wine-inspired fragrance collections showcase those specific aromatic profiles in every single product.  The creation process was lengthy as she experimented and tested over 700 fragrances before the final 16 flagship fragrance collections were selected to invoke these unique sensory experiences. These scents can now be brought into homes by savoring the wine-inspired candles, refreshing room sprays, and using the nourishing body lotions and hydrating hand soaps. Enjoy your Champagne, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon Eau Du Vin products while relaxing with a glass of wine for a perfect pairing.

After launching in 2023, Lauren has been featured in multiple national magazines sharing Eau Du Vin’s story with the world. Eau Du Vin products are available online and sold in numerous retail stores and wineries across the United States.
